Spieth joins Kaymer in lead at Players

Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Jordan Spieth managed a 1-under 71 on Saturday and it was enough to gain a piece of the lead after three rounds of the Players Championship.

Spieth ended 54 holes at 12-under-par 204. He was able to gain a share of the lead when Martin Kaymer bogeyed the 18th on Saturday. Kaymer shot even-par 72 in round three.

Sergio Garcia, the 2008 winner, shot 3-under 69 and moved into a tie for third at minus-9. He was joined there by John Senden, who shot 68 on Saturday.

Matt Jones and George McNeill both carded 3-under 69s in round three on the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, and they share fifth with Gary Woodland (70).

Francesco Molinari matched the low round of the day with his 5-under 67. He was joined in eighth place at 7-under-par 209 by David Hearn (68) and Lee Westwood (71).
