Liberty's Williams out for season with torn ACL

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - New York Liberty guard Kamiko Williams will miss the 2014 WNBA season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee on Tuesday during training camp.

Williams was selected by the Liberty in the second round of the 2013 WNBA Draft and last season averaged 2.6 points and 2.1 rebounds while appearing in all 34 games, including 18 starts.

New York opens its regular-season slate against Connecticut on May 16.
