Re Leonard Pitts’ April 30 article, These guys failed to get the memo: It’s called the old-man syndrome.
If you observe correctly, Pitts is complaining about comments made by old racist minds. They just can’t get on with hip and cool.
If I am observing correctly, racist thinking is fading away with time. I wonder what color will mean in 20 years.
Pitts stands up for his race consistently; so much that it may be putting him in the old-man syndrome. But he certainly makes points that are right on the money.
