Falcons bring in TE Pascoe

Flowery Branch, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Atlanta Falcons announced Thursday that the team has signed free-agent tight end Bear Pascoe to an undisclosed contract.

Pascoe joins the Falcons after spending his first five NFL seasons with the New York Giants, primarily as a blocking specialist. The 6-foot-5, 265-pounder appeared in 66 games and started 32 during his tenure with the Giants.

The 28-year-old has totaled just 38 catches, 12 of which came last season, for 333 yards and one touchdown during his pro career.
