East Rutherford, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Giants have picked up the 2015 option on the contract of cornerback Prince Amukamara.

Giants general manager Jerry Reese confirmed the move while discussing the team's upcoming draft with media members on Thursday.

Amukamara started all 16 games for the Giants last season after injuries hampered his first two years with the club. He appeared in 20 games over his first two seasons.

The Nebraska product compiled 85 tackles with two forced fumbles and an interception last year. He has picked off one pass in each of his three NFL seasons.
