Must-see TV: Atlanta Housewife breaks silence

Hold onto your seats: The View is going to be a battleground on Tuesday. The ABC show is brave enough — or desperate, take your pick — to play host to Porsha Williams, the Real Housewives of Atlanta personality who is facing a battery charge after allegedly attacking a fellow cast member during taping of the reunion special. Williams, the ex-wife of former NFL standout Kordell Stewart and the granddaughter of the late civil rights leader Hosea Williams, will address the incident in which she and co-star Kenya Moore went at it. Moore said she was assaulted by Williams.

Domestic issues

Paul Simon and his wife, Edie Brickell, were arrested on disorderly conduct charges Saturday night but held hands in a Connecticut court Monday, saying they did not feel threatened by the other. Simon told a Norwalk Superior Court judge that he had a rare argument with his wife at their house in New Canaan. A caller from their home dialed 911 Saturday night and hung up, according to police. Officers who responded found minor injuries and believed it was a case of domestic violence. Simon, 72, and Brickell, 47, were each given a misdemeanor summons and must return to court on May 16.

Chill out!

Hundreds of fans were crushed trying to rush the stage during a One Direction concert at Estadio Nacional stadium in Lima, Peru, on Sunday, according to Sky News. Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson threatened to stop performing unless the crowd calmed down. In video taken by an audience member, you see Horan yelling for people to “stay back.” Almost 50 people required medical treatment, mostly for asphyxia.

Time for a burger

Tori Spelling and Tara Reid must be following the same diet: The two blondes are both painfully, disturbingly skinny. We’re not sure what the Sharknado co-star’s latest problem is but we know Spelling is in deep marital doo-doo (though rumors suggest she and her fame-hungry husband Dean McDermott faked his affair so they could get another reality show). Spelling looked awful in a recent tabloid photo, which shows her leaving an L.A. hospital. Star magazine reports that the former 90210-er is abusing pain medication.
