The Sports Network

East Rutherford, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Giants have added another quarterback for the spring, signing Rusty Smith to an undisclosed contract.

Smith becomes the fifth quarterback on the Giants' roster, joining Eli Manning, Ryan Nassib, Curtis Painter and the recently signed Josh Freeman. It also gives the Giants added depth for minicamp if Manning is unable to participate as he continues his recovery from ankle surgery.

The Florida Atlantic product spent the past four seasons with Tennessee and appeared in just three games for the Titans, starting one. He has completed 23-of-45 passes for 234 yards with no touchdowns and four interceptions.
