Rubell Hotels has added a property in Maryland, growing its portfolio to include three hotels.
The Miami-based hotel company bought the Lord Baltimore Hotel in early 2013 and restored it over the course of the next year. A ribbon-cutting for the renovated 440-room hotel was held last month.
Rubell Hotels also owns the 100-room Albion Hotel in Miami Beach and the Capitol Skyline Hotel in Washington, D.C., which has 203 rooms.
The Rubell family is behind the Rubell Family Collection in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood, a privately owned contemporary art collection that is open to the public.
