Renowned poet Robert Hass will headline the O Miami Poetry Festival Saturday at the New World Center in Miami Beach. The public can watch the festivities on the Wallcast from the park just outside the building.

Hass, who was U.S. Poet Laureate from 1995 to ’97, has won the Pulitzer Prize, a MacArthur Genius grant and many other major literary awards. He’s also a professor at U.C. Berkeley, from where he spoke to WLRN/Herald News.
