West Miami mayor wins reelection

Incumbent West Miami Mayor Eduardo H. Muhina defeated challenger Michael T. Montero in Tuesday’s election.

Muhina won with 371 votes compared to Montero's 272, according to unofficial results from the Miami-Dade County elections department.

Muhina, an architect, will serve a two-year term. He has served as mayor since 2009 and was a city commissioner from 2003 to 2009.
