Paul Ryan’s fiscal know-how

All the money we spend, that we don't have, has to be done in red ink.

Letter writer Bill Silver attacked the budget of Paul Ryan, a true statesman who is concerned with the future of our country. He is far too honest about the grim truth to even have a chance at being a candidate again because people, when they don't like the message, attack the messenger.

We are now wasting $220 billion per year on interest, but that is small because of the low interest rate. We have to realize that this black hole of debt we are sliding into has an increasingly slippery edge, one that we may never get out of.

If we have a major crash, the poor people will suffer the most.
