Miami shooting leaves man “extremely critical”

A shooting Wednesday night in Miami left a male victim in “extremely critical condition,” police said.

The victim, whose name and age were not available, was shot multiple times. Miami Police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes said he was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. in the area of Northwest 66th Street and Northwest 12th Avenue. Reyes did not have information about who the shooter was or what led up to the incident.
