Incumbents re-elected in Bay Harbor Islands

Incumbents won both Town Council seats available in Bay Harbor Islands’ election Tuesday.

Jordan Leonard, who has served as the town's vice-mayor, won the four-year seat while Joshua Fuller won the two-year term. Paul Ruthfield came in third. Fuller, has been serving on the council temporarily for about six months and will take over the two years remaining in the term of Francisco Temprano, who left the council because moved out of town.

More than 600 of Bay Harbor Islands 3,000 registered voters participated in the election.

"I want to thank all the citizens that voted, regardless for who they voted," Fuller said. "I very much appreciate the residents of Bay Harbor allowing me to finish the term."
