After reading the March 25 article Teen’s plea to be adopted unanswered, about Davion Navar Henry Only asking a church full of strangers to help him find a permanent home, it made me wonder what exactly these adoption agencies are really doing.
Ten thousand people from around the world called to help or adopt Davion. Why is he still in need of a family? I understand necessary procedures must be taken to ensure Davion is placed in a safe home, but is anyone wondering what he’s experiencing in this process? Reading and knowing that all these families are willing to help and adopt him, but with no change being made, can cause emotional, psychological and even health issues.
