Re the March 23 article Lawsuit: Fatal raid ‘excessive’: Is that all the evidence you need for a warrant, a confidential informant saying they bought marijuana from someone? Is there a tape recording of the purchases? Was marijuana found in the residence? How about that three-second rule to answer your front door before it gets smashed in? Something is terribly wrong about obtaining warrants based on confidential informants who are getting paid to supply information to the police.
