Even if you can’t get all the way to Korea, you can get a taste of its culture at an exhibition just opened at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Treasures from Korea: Arts and Culture of the Joseon Dynasty, 1392–1910 contains more than 150 works, among them national treasures that have never before left Korea. The works include silk ceremonial robes, metalwork, ceramics, screen paintings and calligraphy. The show, making its only East Coast stop in Philadelphia, runs through May 26.
