We were shocked by the March 11 editorial, Private gain, public drain. We don’t know anything about politics, but we care that our two kids are well educated, good citizens and serve our nation.
Both of our kids go to private school, taking advantage of the corporate-tax scholarship program. With our limited income, we could not have dreamed about sending them to private school.
The program is good and effective. Our kids are doing great and they are happy. As parents, what more could we want? Don’t ignore this program, which is a great bridge between rich and less-fortunate families.
