“Step Out to Stop Violence Against Women and Girls” annual 5K Walk set for this weekend

 

The second annual 5K walk dubbed “Step Out to Stop Violence Against Women and Girls” will be held Saturday in west Miami-Dade.

The event, hosted by the Miami chapter of the U.S. National Committee for UN Women, begins at the Women’s Park at 10251 W. Flagler St.

All walkers are welcome.

The entry fee is $25 for adults and $5 for students; children 12 and under are free.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. followed by an opening ceremony.
