Serious global conflict

As the turmoil in the Ukraine explodes minute by minute, President Obama, despite his warning to Russia that there would be costs, chooses not to attend his own National Security team meeting to discuss this ongoing crisis.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin has orchestrated the invasion of sovereign Ukraine, tensions are at an all-time high and the president is absent?

Instead the White House says he was briefed by Susan Rice (of Benghazi infamy) and the security team.

Isn’t the real possibility of a major global conflict more important than anything else Mr. Obama should be doing right now?

Does this president take anything seriously, besides his troubled ACA and golf? It doesn’t seem so, but he should.
