Stabbing reported on UF campus

Police are investigating a stabbing at Leigh Hall, an academic building, on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville.

A man was seen fleeing the scene in a black Jeep. The victim’s condition is not known.

The university is on spring break this week and it is not known if those involved were students.

According to The Independent Florida Alligator, there was a stabbing near the same building in 2012.

Anyone with information is asked to call UFPD at 352-392-1111.

This report will be updated as more information becomes available.
