Southwest Miami-Dade shooting injures two


Miami-Dade detectives are investigating a shooting that left two people hospitalized on Saturday.

Details are sketchy, but police say the shooting happened in the area of 248th Street and SW 177th Avenue.

Police say the two victims and the subject were involved in a altercation when the subject opened fire. One victim was stuck in the arm and the second victim was struck in the torso area.

One of the victims was transported to a nearby hospital and the second was airlifted to Ryder Trauma.

Police did not release the names of the two victims or the shooter. It’s unclear if the shooter faces any charges at this time.
