Colby Rasmus, Brett Lawrie and Adam Lind all drove in a run for Toronto, while Todd Redmond pitched two perfect innings of relief to earn the win. Former Phillie J.A. Happ was tagged for two runs on four hits in the first inning.
Ryan Howard and Marlon Byrd each smacked first inning RBI-singles in the setback. Phillippe Aumont surrendered two runs in a relief inning to absorb the loss.
