Attention, Miami residents looking for a getaway: Pumpkin Key, a rare private in the Florida Keys, is for sale for $110 million.

The 26-acre key, part of the Ocean Reef community, includes a main house, two caretaker’s cottages, a boat captain’s apartment, a private office and a dozen 1-1/2-acre bayfront lots, listing agent Russell Post Sotheby’s International Realty said.

It is owned by Jane Berry, the widow of George A. Berry, a Chicago businessman who died in 2010.

The jaw-dropping property includes a 20-slip marina suitable for a megayacht and a beach area. In the middle of the key are tennis courts that serve as a helipad.

The key comes with a single-family home and garage with dockage and water access in the exclusive Ocean Reef community on the northern end of Key Largo.

That’s a big plus, since Ocean Reef’s amenities include a 4,456-foot runway that can accommodate large business jets. The club community also offers an oceanfront inn, a spa and salon, dining and shopping, a big marina, two golf courses, and tennis and lawn sports.

The little chunk of paradise has the building rights and water, electric and telephone infrastructure for 12 bayfront homes, but could alternately serve as a family compound.
