Facing drought, California imperils the food supply by diverting water to protect a tiny fish. In response, President Obama wants to control the heavens with more of our earnings and John Kerry in Indonesia equates those who don’t believe in the “consensus” of looming climate calamity with those who once believed the world flat.
Meanwhile, EPA regulations to control carbon are predicted to almost double the cost of electricity.
The usual suspect in all this, carbon dioxide, is a red herring since anyone can Google that it constitutes less than 4/100 of 1 percent of the atmosphere. Humans cause only 5 percent of that, and the United States is responsible for just 15 percent of that 5 percent — far too minuscule for anything we spend on it to matter to the planet.
If a foreign government attacked our economy like our government has, we’d declare war.
