Florida Grand Opera debuts its production of Andy Vores' opera, based on the play by French existentialist Jean-Paul Sartre, on Thursday as part of its Knight Foundation-funded Unexpected Operas in Unexpected Places initiative.
The work is an unconventional choice a company that specializes in the classics of Verdi, Mozart and Puccini, and so are the time and location: 10 p.m. at Arena Lounge (formerly NoWhere Lounge), an event space on South Beach.
