Seasonal Miami-Finland flights to start in December

Winter flights between Miami and Finland will start at the end of this year.

Finnair announced this week that it will launch the service on Dec. 16. Flights will operate twice a week until Jan. 3, when the frequency will increase to three flights a week.

The seasonal service ends March 21, 2015.

According to Miami International Airport, Finnair last flew between Miami and Helsinki in 2010.
