Free guidance offered in Miami on obtaining financing

A group of lenders are joining together to offer 100 South Florida small businesses free guidance on obtaining non-traditional financing, beginning Wednesday

The group includes Partners for Self Employment, a non-profit, U.S. SBA-certified micro-lender; Paragon Financial, a financing firm; and Miami-based Lendinero, an online platform that connects small businesses to capital. Gil Zapata, chief executive of Lendinero, said the firm has partnered with several financing firms to help South Florida businesses obtain a credit decision within two days and get funded within seven business days.

Zapata said 100 businesses in South Florida will be offered a six-month program at Partners for Self Employment that will include business and management education, information on access to capital and business support services. For more information, call Lendinero, at 888-505-5835, ext. 5.
