Scores of supporters attended a prayer vigil Sunday evening in Fort Lauderdale for the safe return of a Florida State University student from Weston who has been missing for two weeks.

Ryan Uhre, 23, was last seen in downtown Tallahassee on Super Bowl Sunday.

Since his disappearance, his family has distributed missing posters in Broward and Tallahassee and launched a “Find Ryan Uhre” Facebook page.

Uhre’s father, Michael, said everything was going fine for his son. He graduated in December from FSU and was applying to law school. He had stayed in Tallahassee and had gotten an internship for state Rep. Richard Stark, of Weston.

The vigil was held next to the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel.

Anyone with information about Uhre’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-8477.
