Scott Rothstein associate Christina Kitterman found guilty on all counts

A jury delivered a swift verdict to Ponzi schemer Scott Rothstein’s former Fort Lauderdale law firm partner Christina Kitterman on Tuesday, taking just two hours to find her guilty of all three wire fraud counts against her.

Kitterman, 39, who is still in private practice in Boca Raton, could face as much as nine years or more in federal prison, prosecutors told the judge. Her defense hopes she will be sentenced to less than five years.

Kitterman’s defense took a big risk that didn’t pay off — calling Rothstein to testify in her defense.
