Chudzinski lands in Indianapolis

The Sports Network

Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Indianapolis Colts have named Rob Chudzinski as a special assistant.

Chudzinski was fired after just one season as head coach of the Cleveland Browns and will join Chuck Pagano's staff. The two worked together for eight seasons in college and the NFL.

Pagano and Chudzinski coached together with the Miami-Florida Hurricanes from 1995-2000 and also spent the 2004 season together as assistants with the Browns. Pagano was also a graduate assistant at Miami during Chudzinski's freshman year in 1986.

Prior to Chudzinski's one season in Cleveland, which ended with a 4-12 record, he was offensive coordinator for two seasons with Carolina.
