New video shows Justin Bieber being processed after Miami Beach arrest

New surveillance video released Thursday shows singer Justin Bieber being processed by an officer after he was arrested in Miami Beach in January.

In the video, Bieber removes his shoes and socks and pulls off his black hoodie before the officer pats him down. The officer also appears to direct the singer to pull up his baggy black shorts.

Bieber was arrested Jan. 23 after police spotted him and friend Khalil Amir Sharieff driving two sports cars in an apparent illegal drag race.

The pop star was charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest, and driving with an invalid license. Sharieff was also arrested on a DUI charge.

Breathalyzer tests showed Bieber’s blood alcohol content below the .02 threshold for underage drivers. But police say a toxicology test detected the presence of marijuana and Xanax in his system.

A trial date of March 3 has been set in Miami-Dade County Court. Bieber’s attorney Roy Black previously filed a written plea of not guilty.
