I can’t think of any upcoming state and local issue that is more important than banning residential gun ranges. I’m sure everyone would be shocked and saddened if a stray bullet pierced the skull of a sleeping baby who was next door to a makeshift gun range.
Why don’t we just fast-forward past all that before it happens, and make sure legislators know that these gun ranges are a bad idea.
In the meantime, I live in Miami Shores and I am not allowed to have a vegetable garden in my front lawn.
I’m considering planting one anyway and renaming it my “soft-shelled artillery range.” I’ll set up my biggest stew pot as a target, and launch a few tomato cannon balls, zucchini torpedoes and acorn squash bombs.
