Lowry, Dragic named NBA Players of the Week

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry and Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic have been named the NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for the period ending Feb. 2.

Lowry guided the Raptors to a 3-1 week, averaging 25.0 points, 8.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals. He scored 30 points in consecutive games for the first time in his career (Jan. 27-29) and made 16 three-point field goals on the week.

Dragic helped Phoenix to a 4-0 week, averaging 26.8 points, 6.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds. He shot 63.9 percent from the field and 69.2 percent from three- point territory.

In addition, Dragic tied a career-long streak with four straight games with 20-plus points.
