No more death chants?

Iran wants to join the family of nations as an equal partner. Does that mean that it will no longer require its schoolchildren to chant, death to America and death to Israel every morning?

  • No to courthouse bond

I’m tired of paying for county bonds for things that I don’t need or want. Children’s Trust, Jackson Memorial, the school district and now the courthouse. All these on top of many more outstanding bonds that the county (i.e. the taxpayers) are have to pay back with interest for years and years.

  • Flawed judge

Re the Miami Herald’s Aug. 28 editorial, The hard part is over, regarding newly elected judicial candidate Veronica Diaz: It was not the “faith and forgiveness” of the voters who placed this young woman on the bench, but the less-informed voters who do not read, hence do not keep abreast of Ms. Diaz’s unethical ways and the scandals in which she has been involved. I do not expect any justice coming from her division. God help those who appear before her. Only people with connections will prevail in her courtroom. There will be no justice for the average Joe.

  • We didn’t vote

My wife and I are super voters. This was probably the first primary we didn’t vote in 40 years. I am disgusted. If we get one more poverty vote donation request from our party we may just go NPA. I did not vote for most of the people emailing me. Thirty emails a week are a turn off! Leave me alone.
