Yes, you have the right to defend yourself. But if you’re carrying a gun, you have an obligation to be sure that using the gun is the last resort. Unfortunately, SYG is often the first resort. Having a gun should make you more comfortable in backing away from a situation, not fortify you to aggravate it.
