Traffic alert: Eastbound lanes to shut down on MacArthur Causeway on Monday night for PortMiami tunnel construction

Eastbound lanes of the MacArthur Causeway, which links Miami and Miami Beach, will be closed 10 p.m. Monday to 5:30 a.m. Tuesday from just west of I-395 to the Biscayne Boulevard off-ramp.

One eastbound lane will close at 10 p.m., with the rest of the stretch shut down from 1 to 5 a.m. Westbound lanes will remain open.

The lanes will close so workers can put up signs and panels for the PortMiami tunnel project.

The tunnel, set to open in May, will run under the bay and link the port to I-395 and I-95.
