Three men shot in Miami; one left in critical condition

Miami police were investigating a shooting Thursday evening that left three men injured, one of them critically.

Officers arrived at the scene at the corner of North Miami Avenue and Northeast 84th Street around 4 p.m. and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital by Miami Fire Rescue workers. The third victim was taken to the hospital by a friend.

Police spokesman Freddie Cruz said officials have no leads on suspects and said the investigation was “up in the air.” He said police are not sure about a motive or if the incident was gang or drug related.
