The Wounded Warriors Project Soldier Ride from Miami to Key West will kick off on Thursday with a breakfast in Miami Beach and proceed South on Ocean Drive to 1st Street—then on to Alton Road.
Soldier Ride is a four-day cycling event for alumni members of the Wounded Warriors Project aimed at helping them overcome physical, mental and emotional injuries of war.
In Miami Beach, students from South Point Elementary School will be greet the cyclists as they pass in front of the school.
In Miami, the Soldier Ride cyclists will make a noon stop at Marlins Ball Park in Little Havana, then head south to the Florida Keys.
The event ends at noon Sunday with a ceremony in Key West’s Truman Annex.
