As long-time resident of South Florida and a Miami Dolphins fan from the beginning, I’m announcing that I’m turning in my T-shirt, retiring from being a fan.
I do not blame the players — the organization clings to its aspiration of mediocrity. That is what it has achieved over and over with great success. A team is no better than its organization, and from Stephen Ross on down, it’s a waste of time to get eager each season.
We have no leadership to give the players that psychological edge. Until the top changes, I am done.
