The Olympic Museum in Lausanne has reopened, just in time to mark the start of the XXII Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia next month. Overlooking Lake Geneva in the waterfront Ouchy district, the museum was closed for nearly two years for an extensive renovation that nearly doubled the existing exhibition space. To celebrate the Sochi Winter Olympic Games, the museum is unveiling a major exhibition, The Russian Avant-Garde and Sport, which will run from Jan. 24 to May 11.
