I’m a passionate Dolphins fan, not a coach, ESPN analyst or wealthy owner. But I certainly know something: Stephen Ross must take some action. His team has no fire, no resolve, at least none I saw on Sunday.
Contrast that with memories of Don Shula pacing sideline, urging and demanding effort and performance from his players or Dan Marino breathing fire as he inspired team to fight.
Ross says that no job is safe. He must follow through. Ryan Tannehill needs better quarterback coaching, and offense needs a coordinator with some guts and creativity. The “marriage” between Tannehill and offensive coordinator Mike Sherman has outlived its usefulness. Isn’t football one of those “macho” sports? How can the Dolphin team and organization tolerate being pushed around and humiliated on our home field?
Show us how disappointed you are, Mr. Ross.
