Beer of the week: Wynwood Brewing La Rubia

Beer: Wynwood Brewing Co. La Rubia

Style: Blonde ale

Alcohol: 4.9 percent by volume

Price: About $6 a 16-ounce draft at bars and restaurants

Story: La Rubia is the lightest beer in the new Wynwood Brewing Co.’s portfolio, but its clean, crisp flavor comes from a crowded palette of international ingredients. British malts, German yeast, Czech hops and Miami water go into this sessionable brew that could be a gateway craft beer for drinkers accustomed to Bud.

Pairing: La Rubia is a light, refreshing foil to the salt and fat of charcuterie. Find both at the Butcher Shop in Wynwood.
