Three people shot in New Year’s morning robbery

 

Not a great start to the new year for three south Miami-Dade residents after they were shot during a robbery.

It happened just after 3 a.m.

Miami-Dade police Det. Alvaro Zabaleta said a New Year’s party was just wrapping up and 46-year old Armando Periera was standing in front of his home in the 13400 block of SW 270th Terrace when three armed males rode up on bikes and robbed him of his gold chain. They then forced him inside to go to the backyard where some of Periera’s guests were talking.
