Coral Springs Police investigate officer-involved shooting

Coral Springs police are investigating an officer-involved shooting Tuesday night.

The incident began when police responded to a call about domestic violence at 12204 NW 24th St., according to department spokeswoman Sgt. Carla Kmiotek. She confirmed an officer shot a suspect, whom she said was then transported to a local hospital.

Kmiotek declined to release any further information. This story will be updated as details are released.
