The Business of Wine advanced certificate program covers grape growing, wine making, analytical tasting, wine-food pairing, importing, wholesaling and retailing.
Teachers are “Chip” Cassidy, Bill Hebrank and Eric Hemer, who holds the rare dual qualifications of Master of Wine and Master Sommelier.
Classes meet from 6:15 to 8:45 p.m. Mondays beginning Jan. 27 at the Advanced Wine Lab on FIU’s Biscayne Bay Campus, 15100 Biscayne Blvd., North Miami. Cost is $749, with registration required at wine.fiu.edu or 305-919-4138.
