I live in south Coral Gables and often drive the most beautiful of roads, Old Cutler. This is a magnificent scenic corridor, except for the abuse that landscapers wreak by using blowers to scatter grass cuttings onto the road instead of picking up the grass cutting after mowing lawns. Then, automobiles further blow the debris around.
The cuttings likely find their way into storm drains, clogging the systems and adding to the flooding problems that already exist. Why not fine the landscapers and the homeowners when this occurs?
