By Carli Teproff

A man and a woman were shot late Thursday in front of a North Miami home, according to North Miami Maj. Neal Cuevas.

The man, who is 19, was inside a car while the woman, 20, was sitting on the porch at 675 NE 130th St. when a hail of bullets came from a passing car.

The victims were taken to Ryder Trauma in stable condition.

Each victim had at least one gunshot wound to their upper body.

“Numerous shots were fired. They were very fortunate,” Cuevas said.

It was unclear if either of the victims lived at the North Miami home.

Police did not have any further information on the car or shooter.
