Man hurt in hit and run on Broward Blvd

Fort Lauderdale police are investigating a hit and run in which a Pompano Beach man was injured on Broward Boulevard Thursday morning.

Daniel Francis Driscoll, 53, was attempting to cross West Broward Boulevard not at a crosswalk from the south to the north when he was struck by a 1996 to 2000 model 4-door green Honda Civic traveling westbound. The driver fled westbound on Broward Boulevard. Driscoll was transported to Broward Health Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition Thursday.

Anyone with information about the driver or crash is asked to call the traffic homicide investigator at 954-828-5825.
