I have a suggestion that will solve two problems: Build a floating barge that will accommodate a soccer field and park it in front of a renovated Marine Stadium. This will resolve the dilemma of what to do with the stadium and give David Beckham a fantastic venue for his team.
Parking already exists, and the engineering for the barge/field is relatively simple and cost-effective. The team owners could also be charged with the stadium-renovation cost and annual rental to the city of Miami. Overall, it might be less expensive than building a new stadium.
