President Obama isn’t very politically astute and he seems to have no clue how to control the national narrative in the media.
The economy may finally be turning around, but we’ve hardly heard a word about it. We’ve had more than 200,000 jobs created for four months in a row, the GDP is up to 3.6 percent, unemployment is at its lowest point since the Great Recession began and they’ve even slashed the deficit.
Sadly, most of the Herald’s readers might only know this information by reading it in my letter.
I wonder how a Romney administration would have handled this news? Something tells me that the media would have enjoyed saturating us with the GOP’s skillful message about how it is “morning in America, again” thanks to Romney. Why Obama can’t do the same thing, I’ll never know.
It certainly makes for a more interesting and important headline to me than the one about a messed-up website.
